Refugee Activity Reflection

What I found surprising about the low ropes activity course was that it was really hard, I thought it would be easy because it seemed like some of the obstacles would be easy to accomplish. What I also found surprising was how hard it was. I would have never thought it would be so hard to cross a simple thing. What I found challenging about it is that it was all be chance, I thought that was the most difficult part. I thought this was difficult because your fate was what number you rolled on the dice. If you got a good number then you just had complete the obstacle at hand, if you rolled a bad number than you had to go back to the start or wait for awhile for someone to collect all of your money wait until you were released. I think this mirrors what actual refuges go through really well because if you didn’t make it across, you either “died”or were sent back to where we came from. I feel like they mirrored the money situation really well because when you had to fix something or had to get out of somewhere you had to pay a person all of your money, you didn’t know that they were going to fix ir or not, or even release you. Most of the time you ended up broke. And you had to beg for money from other refuges, no one really wanted to give away there money to other people so most broke refuges stayed broke.
